Welcome to Through the Witching Woods, a 31-day Halloween countdown inspired by the dark and haunting world of Hansel & Gretel. Follow a trail of breadcrumbs into a mysterious woodland filled with wicked witches, cursed gingerbread cottages, poisonous berries, enchanted potions and secrets best left undisturbed.

Each day reveals another chapter in this spellbinding tale, brought to life through a collection of atmospheric, hand-dyed yarn colourways inspired by the magic and menace of the forest. Think midnight blacks, deep woodland greens, blood reds, smoky purples, burnt autumn oranges and flickering ember golds, with mysterious shades lurking around every corner.

From the first whispered warning beneath the trees to the final twist in our dark fairytale, every skein invites you deeper into a world of gothic enchantment, woodland magic and deliciously wicked storytelling.

Will you follow the breadcrumbs?

Will you find the gingerbread house?

And when the witch appears, will you make it out of the woods?

Remember… not all fairytales end with happily ever after.

You will receive:

1 × 14 × 10 inch Fabric drawstring, Zipped or Tote project bag.

1 × 6 × 4 inch fabric notions pouch

1 × 9 inch DPN cosy

1 × Yarn wrap

30 × 20g mini Skeins of yarn that will be individually wrapped & numbered in a mixed colour palette.

1 × 100g skein of Hand Dyed yarn

Set of Handmade stitch markers

1 × Scented candle

Plus a few little extras.

Sock/4ply (75% super wash merino, 25% Nylon)

400 metres/80 metres

Dk (Super Wash merino)

225 metres/42 metres

Please note:

It's hand dyed using Acid dyes.

Every effort has been made to ensure all dye has been rinsed but please note that some may remain and may cause bleeding. I always suggest hand wash only.
