2025 is an exceptional year for seeing the Northern Lights because it's near the solar maximum, the peak of the sun's 11-year cycle. This means more frequent and intense auroras, potentially visible at lower latitudes than usual.
The best viewing times are from late September until early April, with the peak months being between November to February.
